Journalist Jeton Sopa obstructed during the protest, AGK: We condemn the physical attack

The Association of Journalists of Kosovo has reacted after an incident during the protest in front of the Kosovo Assembly building, where, according to the AGK, journalist Jeton Sopa from KosovaNews was obstructed in carrying out his duties.

According to the AGK’s announcement, Sopa was physically pushed by several people while he was reporting from the protest, at the time when the extraordinary session was being held in the Assembly.

The AGK expressed concern about the case and condemned the physical attack on the journalist.

“The AGK calls on all parties involved in today’s events to respect the work of media teams and not to obstruct it in any way”, the reaction of the Association of Journalists of Kosovo says.

The AGK asked that journalists and media teams be able to carry out their work without obstructions and pressure while reporting from protests and public events. /Telegrafi/
