Klestor Veseli at the All-People’s Protest: “We Have Not Lost Faith in the Western World”

Klestor Veseli, the son of former parliament speaker Kadri Veseli, said his family has not lost faith in the Western world and its justice.

In the first instance, Veseli was sentenced to 18 years in prison by the Specialist Chambers in The Hague. He was convicted on several charges, while the one for crimes against humanity was dismissed.

During the all-people’s protest in support of the former KLA leaders, he called for the correction of what he described as a politically influenced mistake.

“We have not lost faith in the Western world, in their justice. We are only asking for the correction of a mistake that has been steeped in politics. Thank you also to you for devoting so much attention to this matter,” Veseli said.
