Kurti receives von der Leyen in a meeting, press conference to follow

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is holding a meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

After the meeting, Kurti and von der Leyen are expected to hold a press conference.

Before the meeting with the prime minister, von der Leyen met with the acting President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu.

The European Commission president’s visit to Kosovo comes at a sensitive political period, following the verdict against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers.

Regarding this issue, several citizens protested against von der Leyen after her arrival at Pristina International Airport. /Telegrafi/
