Latest league moves: updates on Bears, Colts, Chiefs and Titans
Teams reported changes in rosters and lineups due to injuries, signings and practice-squad elevations ahead of upcoming games.
As the NFL reports, the Chicago Bears confirmed that QB Tyson Bagent has cleared the concussion protocol and will practice Saturday; coach Ben Johnson has not yet named the starter for Monday’s game against the Eagles. The Indianapolis Colts signed WR Anthony Gould from the practice squad, placed WR Alec Pierce (heel issues) on injured reserve and elevated WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine for game day. The Kansas City Chiefs are making two game-day elevations to bring back DE Tyreke Smith and LB Cole Christiansen. The Tennessee Titans claimed DB Erick Hallett from the practice squad, waived LB Owen Pappoe from the roster and elevated RB Michael Carter for game day.
These changes could affect starting lineups and team strategies for upcoming games, as coaching staffs decide based on player condition and tactical needs.
