Lawyer Koci demands clarification from the defense of the KLA leaders on what happened in The Hague

Lawyer Arianit Koci is calling on the lawyers of the KLA leaders to come out publicly and explain what happened during the trial at the Special Court in The Hague.

“How did we get to these sentences? Where was the problem? Why was there no signal that it could end like this?”

“Political interpretations are our internal matter. From the defense teams we expect a professional, clear and concrete explanation.”

“They owe this to the citizens, because they represented Kosovo’s highest state figures, starting with the country’s former president.”

“Moreover, around 40 million euros have been paid so far for the legal defense of all those indicted and suspected by The Hague (for just these four, the total support was around 28.5 million), from Kosovo’s budget,” lawyer Koci wrote on Facebook.
