Legal Moves Against the Specialist Court — Hamza: I Believe Today We Will Make It Concrete in the Assembly
PDK leader Bedri Hamza, together with the party’s MPs, joined the nationwide protest in support of the Kosovo Liberation Army, organized by the war veterans’ associations in Pristina.
In a statement to reporters he said the Specialist Court’s guilty verdict is unacceptable and, in his view, not based on facts.
Hamza said this protest is not directed against anyone, but is in full support of Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi.
“We are for justice, we are against injustice. So far in this process, in this court, what we have seen, we have seen injustice. This is an unacceptable decision for the citizens of Kosovo, an unjust decision, not based on facts, it is a political decision, and certainly we are here to express our dissatisfaction. This protest is in support of our leaders, of the leaders of the KLA, unlimited solidarity and support for them. It is not directed against anyone, but in full support and in full disagreement with what has happened in the Hague Court. We will take all necessary democratic actions — protests too, but also legal action. I believe today we will make it concrete in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo,” said Hamza.
