“Liria Ka Emër” holds media conference today, new details expected on the October 1 march

The civic platform “Liria Ka Emër” (Freedom Has a Name) will hold a media conference today, as part of the activities ahead of the October 1 march, as Klan Kosova reports.

The conference is scheduled for 14:00, and organisers are expected to give details about the march, although the reason for holding the conference has not been made known.

The October 1 march comes as part of this platform’s efforts to oppose the convicting decision of the Specialist Chambers against the former KLA leaders.

According to the platform, October 1 also coincides with the symbolism of the peaceful protest of Kosovo students on October 1, 1997.

Meanwhile in Pristina, the “Not in My Name” protests have continued every night in Skanderbeg Square, where citizens have gathered in solidarity with the former fighters.
