Muçi: An important victory, we want first place in the group

Albanian national team striker Ernest Muçi spoke to FSHF.TV after the victory against Belarus in the Nations League opener. The 25-year-old scored the second goal for the red-and-blacks. Muçi is pleased that Albania started this edition of the Nations League well and stresses that the main objective is first place in the group.

“We know how important the Nations League is for us on the road to the European Championship. We started this edition very well. We want to take first place in the group. It was a very important victory in front of our fans. We still have a lot to do, there are 3 more matches we need to win.

Definitely we need to win 2 or 3 more matches to be first in the group. I felt very good with my teammates too. Normally we have played together before, including in training. It was a very important victory, I hope we continue like this in the other matches,” said Muçi.
