Nations League / A night of goals and red cards, Italy hold France! Here are all the match results

Tonight’s UEFA Nations League action delivered spectacle, plenty of goals and hard-fought contests down to the final minute, accompanied also by three red cards in the different leagues.

The main attention was undoubtedly on League A, where the super-clash between France and Italy was played, which ended in a balanced 1-1 draw.

“Les Bleus” were forced to play with a man less after being punished with a red card, but managed to preserve the draw against the “Azzurri.” In the same group, Belgium showed absolute dominance by cleanly beating Turkey with a convincing 3-0 scoreline.

In League B, Poland were undoubtedly the team of the evening. The Poles recorded a tennis-like 6-0 win over Romania in Group 4, in a match where the Romanians were left with 10 players after a red card. Meanwhile, the other clash in this group between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sweden closed in a 1-1 draw.

In Group 2 of League B, Northern Ireland put in a fantastic performance by beating Ukraine away from home with a deep 3-0 scoreline. Hungary, on the other hand, secured a minimal 1-0 win over Georgia.

Interesting matches were also played in League C. Cyprus managed to win 2-0 against Armenia despite finishing the match with a red card. In the other Group 2 clash, Montenegro took a very valuable win by triumphing 2-1 away against Latvia.
