Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Ariana Musliu-Shoshi today requested that a plenary session be held on the Law on the Specialist Chambers.
In a Facebook post, the PDK MP writes that the Government’s sending to the Assembly of the amendments to the Law on the Specialist Chambers is an important step, as Telegrafi reports.

Kosovo must speak and act with one voice.
The Government’s sending to the Assembly of the amendments to the Law on the Specialist Chambers is an important step.
Now it is the Assembly’s turn.
The law must be debated and voted on in both readings. Therefore, the procedure must start TODAY in the Assembly session, bearing in mind the 72-hour deadline between the two readings.
In parallel, Kosovo needs a coordinated legal and diplomatic strategy, with local and international experts, for the appeal process against the 16 September verdict and for defending the truth about the KLA’s liberation war.
If the country goes to elections without completing this process, we risk making impossible the institutional support we owe to the liberators, to the blood shed and to our dream of freedom.
This issue is above parties and above political calculations.
Here there is no government and opposition. There is state interest.
