Vllaznia waste no time in appointing a new coach: here is who will sit on the Shkodra bench

Vllaznia have wasted no time in officially appointing the new coach who will succeed the dismissed Edi Martini.

Csaba Lazlo will now be on the red-and-blues’ bench, with the task of pulling the Shkodra team out of the difficult state it is in at this start of the season. Vllaznia confirmed everything through an announcement on social media, a communication that came only a few hours after Edi Martini’s dismissal.

“Welcome to Vllaznia, Csaba Lazlo. International experience from the Bundesliga, Scotland, Belgium, Hungary and coaching two national teams. Coach of the Year in Scotland. Coach of the Year in Hungary. Experience. Personality. Ambition. A new chapter begins in Shkodra. Welcome, Mister!” reads Vllaznia’s announcement.

In his career, Csaba Lazlo has coached clubs such as Borussia Moenchengladbach, Ferencvaros, Dundee, Charleroi, etc. In 2004 he was on the technical staff of the Hungarian national team, in the role of assistant coach. The last team he coached was Sepsi in 2025, and now Vllaznia in the Abissnet Superiore is added to his career.
