Polish airports in Lublin and Rzeszów resume flights
Air operations at the airports in Lublin and Rzeszów have resumed after temporary closures because of military aviation operations, Poland’s Air Traffic Authority said on Wednesday.
“The airports in Lublin and Rzeszów have resumed flight operations,” the agency said in a post on X.
Military aviation was operating in Polish airspace because of Russian attacks on Ukraine using “air attack means,” the Polish military said in a statement earlier.
The military also said it had put its ground-based air defence and radar reconnaissance systems on alert as a protective measure aimed at securing its airspace.
