Prishtina hosts the 15th night of the “Not in My Name” protest

Another protest against the Specialist Court’s decision on the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) is being held in Prishtina this evening, 30 September.

It is the 15th night of the protest under the motto “Not in My Name”, which is taking place in Skanderbeg Square in Prishtina.

The protesters are opposing the Specialist Court’s verdict on the former KLA leaders Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi.

On 16 September 2026, the Specialist Court found Thaçi, Veseli, Selimi and Krasniqi guilty at first instance and sentenced them to prison terms.

The “Not in My Name” protest has continued for 15 consecutive nights in central Prishtina, with participants expressing their opposition to the court’s decision.

The gatherings have been held in Skanderbeg Square, where protesters have reiterated their positions in support of the former KLA leaders and against the first-instance verdict.
