Protest in front of Parliament, several residents from Memaliaj oppose merger with Tepelena (VIDEO)

A group of citizens from Memaliaj held a protest this Friday in front of the building of the Presidency of Parliament, opposing the proposals of the new territorial map.

The protest was prompted by the draft law on the new administrative division, which envisages dissolving the Municipality of Memaliaj and merging it with Tepelena.

While the rally is held outside, the draft law on the new territorial division will be examined in the Laws Committee.
