Prime Minister Rama arrives at 1:00 PM from New York; government sources tell Top Channel what he is expected to declare from the VIP lounge at Rinas.

Prime Minister Edi Rama’s announcement that he will address Albanians with a message from the press room of “Mother Teresa” Airport as soon as he arrives from New York has produced a host of speculations and allusions.

Top Channel journalist Muhamed Veliu, reporting from the VIP terminal at Rinas for the 12:00 news edition, said the prime minister is expected to arrive around 1:00 PM.

“Everything remains hermetic about the content of what the prime minister is expected to declare. But a government source, who was with the prime minister in the US, asked by Top Channel, did not give specific details, but said ‘it will be a stance on the current situation’,” journalist Muhamed Veliu reported.

It is not excluded that the prime minister may speak about the way chosen by SPAK prosecutors in indicting the former SHISH chief, Vlora Hyseni, when she was outside the country, just as the prime minister himself was in the US to take part in the UN General Assembly.
