Red-and-black friendlies / Albania U-17 draws first test with Montenegro U-17

Albania U17 drew 2-2 in the first friendly match against Montenegro U17. The team coached by Armand Dama had a good showing, scoring twice in the first half.

The red-and-blacks took the lead in the 18th minute. Hyseni crossed from the right toward the box, while Ivanović involuntarily deflected the ball into his own team’s net.

Before the first half hour was up, Albania doubled the lead through Hyseni, who this time sent the ball into the net himself.

In the second half, Montenegro narrowed the gap in the 62nd minute. Albania was reduced to 10 men in the 83rd minute, after Sharka received a red card.

When everything seemed decided, Montenegro found the equalizer in stoppage time through Bulatović, sealing the 2-2 result.

The second friendly between the two teams will be played on Monday at 11:00, at the “Loro Boriçi” stadium in Shkodër.
