Russia: We struck Kyiv’s bridge and two ships in the Black Sea
Russia on Sunday struck the northern bridge over the Dnipro River in Kyiv, targeting a route used to transport troops and military cargo. The Russian Defence Ministry said aircraft hit two dry-cargo ships carrying military equipment at the port of Odesa, in the northwestern Black Sea.
In an earlier statement, the ministry said Russian forces had struck a dry-cargo ship east of Odesa overnight, as well as a Nova Poshta logistics centre in Chornomorsk and a data centre in Odesa.
On Sunday, Russia vowed to step up its attacks on Ukraine after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Kyiv would intensify strikes on Russian oil refineries.
The ministry said air defence forces had intercepted and destroyed 559 Ukrainian drones between 20:00 on Saturday and 08:00 on Sunday over several Russian regions and over the Azov and Black seas.
