Sanofi pays Regeneron $1 billion upfront for expanded immunology deal
French drugmaker Sanofi announced on Thursday, October 1, 2026, that it will pay its American partner Regeneron $1 billion upfront, as well as up to $7 billion more in milestone payments, according to Reuters.
The expanded deal adds four next-generation, long-acting immunology antibodies to the partnership behind the successful eczema drug Dupixent.
The companies announced that they have resolved their earlier legal dispute over the collaboration and will share the costs and profits of the expanded partnership equally.
The deal deepens one of the most successful partnerships in the pharmaceutical industry, as Sanofi continues to increase its investments in immunology.
