Simiq says he and other Serb List officials summoned by the Special Prosecution, suspected of several crimes
Serb List deputy leader Igor Simiq said that he and several other officials of the party have received another invitation for an interview by the Special Prosecution, claiming that suspicions of several criminal offenses have been raised against him.
Simiq said the invitation mentions suspicions of an “attack on the constitutional order” and several other criminal offenses.
In a social media post, Simiq said he would respond to the Prosecution’s invitation, denying he committed any criminal offense.
“As always, I will respond to the invitation, because I have nothing to hide — aware, as are those who wrote this, that I have committed no criminal offense and that, as a political representative, I am obliged to stand with my people and speak publicly about their suffering,” Simiq wrote.
So far, the Special Prosecution has given no public clarification about the case and the specific suspicions against Simiq and the party’s other officials, as Telegrafi reports.
