Spain become “frightening”: unbeaten since 2023

Spain continues its journey where it left off: after winning the World Cup final against Argentina, “La Roja” also defeated England in its first Nations League match. De la Fuente’s team has extended the national team’s historic unbeaten run to 39 matches — two more than Italy managed during Mancini’s first term.

Spain has not lost since March 29, 2023, when it was beaten 2-0 by Scotland. Since then, under De la Fuente the Spanish national team has won Euro 2024, the 2022-23 Nations League and the 2026 World Cup.
