Spain, El Clásico fever: the cheapest ticket costs 649 euros!
On Sunday, October 25, the whole football world will be focused on Barcelona. El Clásico between Barcelona and Real Madrid will take place at the Spotify Camp Nou. With a little more than three weeks to go until the big match in Iberian football, the standings see the Blaugrana with a perfect record, while the Blancos are six points behind, which means both clubs could go into the match with the Catalans on top, or with an unexpected turnaround. Meanwhile, Joan Laporta’s club has officially announced the start of ticket sales, and the prices will be staggering.
The cheapest option is upper corner 2, at 649 euros, and lower corner 2 costs only ten euros more, that is, 659. Corner 1 rises to 699, so even in this sector, two tickets involve a minimum cost of 1,298 euros. Prices rise in the side sectors: 799 euros for upper side 2, 849 for upper central side 2, 899 for side 1 and 949 for both central side 1 and lower central side 2. In the main stand, the upper second tier costs 899 euros and the main stand 1 reaches 999.
The highest price is for lower central stand 2, at 1,149 euros, taking the price of two seats in that zone to 2,298 euros. These are certainly not insignificant figures, but they are unlikely to dampen fans’ desire to be there, especially since the Barcelona–Real Madrid match, regardless of the two teams’ current form, is never a match like any other.
