Student Center warns of measures over the sale of dormitory places

The Student Center has warned students who have secured a place in the dormitories and at the Student Canteen not to get involved in attempts to sell or buy accommodation places and canteen cards.

In an announcement, the Student Center said it has taken the necessary actions to prevent possible manipulation involving dormitory places and canteen cards.

“The Student Center has taken the necessary actions to prevent this phenomenon”, the announcement says.

Students were also warned not to fall prey to frauds which, according to the Student Center, have appeared on social networks.

“We therefore call on students not to fall prey to these frauds appearing on social networks”, it says further.

The Student Center has warned that punitive measures will be taken in such cases, in accordance with the institution’s regulations, stressing that it will not allow the sale or purchase of dormitory places and canteen cards, as Telegrafi reports.
