Thaçi’s and Veseli’s sons lead the protest in Pristina

Hashim Thaçi’s son Endriti and Kadri Veseli’s son Klestori led the protest being held in Skënderbeu Square in Pristina against the Specialist Chambers’ verdict in The Hague.

Hundreds of citizens gathered in the square following the decision sentencing four former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders to a combined 81 years in prison.

Hashim Thaçi and Jakup Krasniqi were each sentenced to 25 years, Kadri Veseli to 18 years, and Rexhep Selimi to 13 years.

A protest was also held earlier in the day, organized by the War Veterans.

The protesters are voicing their opposition to the verdict, while the rally is proceeding peacefully.
