The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has reacted after the tragic explosion and collapse of a building in Athens, where 6 people lost their lives, including 3 Albanians.

In a reaction on the “X” platform, the ministry expressed its grief over the event and condolences to the families of the victims.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life following the explosion and collapse of a building in Athens, as it is reported that among the victims are also three people of Albanian origin. We express our most sincere condolences to the families and relatives of all those who lost their lives. Our thoughts are with them in this grief, and we wish the injured a swift and full recovery,” the ministry’s reaction reads.

“This tragedy touches Albania closely. We share the grief of the affected families and express our solidarity with our Greek neighbors and the American people,” concludes the reaction of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
