15 new deputies sworn in at the Assembly

Fifteen new deputies have been sworn in at the Assembly of Kosovo, replacing deputies of the Vetëvendosje Movement who have been appointed to ministerial positions in the new government.

The names of the new deputies were presented in the plenary session by Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu.

Those sworn in were Naim Bardiqi, Fitim Haziri, Ilir Qeriqi, Egzon Azemi, Mimoza Shala, Arsim Ademi, Luan Aliu, Fatos Geci, Adelina Tërshani, Ejup Ahmeti, Filiz Mustafa, Arijeta Rexhepi, Agon Batusha, Fahrush Rexhepi and Elvira Ibrahimi.

Their replacement came after the deputies holding the Assembly mandates were appointed to executive positions.

With the vacant seats filled, the 11th Legislature of the Assembly of Kosovo continues its work with 120 deputies.

The list of deputies of this legislature has also been published on the Assembly’s official website, according to Telegrafi.
