Accident in Central Belgrade: Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle in Early Morning, Taken to Hospital in Critical Condition

Around 5:50 this morning, at the intersection of Kneza Miloša and Višegradska streets in Belgrade, a woman pedestrian was hit by a vehicle. The Emergency Service team quickly arrived at the scene and took the injured woman to hospital in critical condition.

Bystanders at the scene tried to help the injured woman. The Emergency Service stresses that in such cases the injured person should not be moved until the medical team arrives, especially when medical help reaches the scene quickly.

According to the Emergency Service, 100 interventions were carried out overnight, 14 of them in public places. Yesterday evening alone, around 8:00 PM, on Rakovacki put near the Rakovica Sports Center, a pedestrian, a man around 50 years old, was injured and taken with serious injuries to the Emergency Center. In another accident, around 10:30 PM near the Rakovica monastery, four people were injured — one with serious injuries and three with minor injuries — who were taken to the Emergency Center.
