Accident with one dead in Fushë-Krujë: the ambulance carrying the injured man is involved in a second collision

A serious accident resulting in the death of a 23-year-old occurred on the Fushë-Krujë–Tirana road, near the village of Larushk, while the ambulance transporting the injured man was later involved in another road collision near the capital.

According to preliminary data, the first accident occurred when an “Audi” vehicle, driven by an 18-year-old with the initials M. S., is suspected of having made a wrong overtaking manoeuvre. To avoid colliding with it, the driver of a “Volkswagen” vehicle swerved and crashed into the side barriers of the road. As a result of the impact, the vehicle’s passenger, Egyptian citizen E. A., 23, who worked as a mechanic in the 18-year-old’s company, lost his life at the scene.

The drama of the event continued during the emergency transport of the injured man towards Tirana. The rapid aid ambulance collided with another vehicle near the entrance to the capital.

From the second collision there were no injuries among the medical staff or the patient. The injured man was immediately taken by an ambulance from Kamza and sent to the Trauma Hospital for specialised treatment, while the investigative group continues its work to fully clarify both events.
