Ajay Devgn’s “Drishyam: The Conclusion” crosses 10 crore rupees in advance sales: finale doubles “Drishyam 2” record

The final chapter of the thriller franchise “Drishyam” has started the Indian box-office race strongly: “Drishyam: The Conclusion,” with Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar, has crossed 10 crore rupees in gross advance sales just days before its October 2, 2026 premiere, as the Indian portal fact.net.in reports.

Advance sales opened on September 27 and have maintained a steady pace since: according to Sacnilk data, about 160,000 tickets were sold for the opening day alone, while over 400,000 tickets for the entire first weekend were sold within the first 48 hours of reservations. Opening day brought about 6.65 crore rupees in gross advance sales — and the figure has already surpassed the final advance-sale total of “Drishyam 2,” which was 5.09 crore rupees.

The early figures are also changing industry expectations. “Drishyam 2” opened with 15 crore rupees net in 2022, while initial estimates for the third chapter placed the opening in the 25–30 crore-rupee range. Now, traders are talking about up to 45 crore rupees on day one — a figure that could challenge the openings of big Hindi films like “War” or “Pathaan,” the fact.net.in portal reports.

The film, directed by Abhishek Pathak, reunites alongside Ajay Devgn also Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj, and is presented by Star Studio18 and produced by Panorama Studios. The third chapter is positioned as the conclusion of the saga that began in 2015 with the original film — 76.16 crore rupees net in India — and continued with “Drishyam 2” in 2022, which closed as a super-hit with 250.59 crore rupees net, as Zoom TV recalls.
