Altin Krasniqi: Without the law on the Special Court, the Assembly has done nothing concrete
Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) MP Altin Krasniqi has reacted after the statement voted on Monday in the Kosovo Assembly regarding the judgment of the Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
Krasniqi, who is also the son of former Assembly speaker and one of the former KLA leaders, Jakup Krasniqi, assessed the statement as a good initiative, but said it is not sufficient without the approval of a law on the Special Court.
“The statement voted today in the Assembly is a good initiative, but without voting the law on the Special Court, nothing concrete has been done,” Krasniqi wrote.
He said that, in his view, the protection of the KLA must be done through concrete actions and institutional decisions.
“The KLA is protected with concrete actions and decisions that defend its just war and its values,” he declared.
Krasniqi added that the citizens of Kosovo are clear about their stance on the KLA’s war.
“The citizens of Kosovo know and have always known that the KLA fought a just war for the freedom of Kosovo,” wrote the PDK MP, as Telegrafi reports.
