Ambassador Wendt continues meetings: after Rama and Hoxha, the US chief diplomat also visits Speaker Niko Peleshi’s office

After meeting Rama and Hoxha, US Ambassador Eric Wendt visited the office of Parliament Speaker Niko Peleshi.

The meeting was held at 14:00.

After officially taking office, Wendt began his meetings in Tirana. The first person he visited in his office was Prime Minister Rama at the government headquarters. The Albanian head of government shared only a photo welcoming the American diplomat, without sharing details of their conversation.

After the prime minister, Eric Wendt also met Albanian chief diplomat Ferit Hoxha at the Foreign Ministry.

After the meeting, Ferit Hoxha wrote that he looks forward to working closely with Wendt to further deepen bilateral relations, including expanding economic and investment opportunities and strengthening cooperation on regional security and stability.
