Ana Brnabić accuses the opposition: ‘You approached us several times and repeated the threats’

Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabić accused the opposition today of having approached the government several times and clearly repeated threats, blocking political dialogue. The statement came in response to a press conference held today by the opposition and students.

According to Brnabić, the country has returned to ‘point zero,’ and under these conditions there can be no talk of free and fair elections. She said the opposition and the Student List oppose even the electoral conditions they themselves had previously demanded.

Brnabić questioned whether elections can be free amid the opposition’s threats, describing the situation as a direct consequence of their stance.

The statements came as students today publicly presented the leader of their Student List and the Plan for Serbia, as part of the election campaign now underway.
