Begaj greets pupils: ‘School is not simply a place where we gain knowledge, but where we prepare to take responsibility’

President Bajram Begaj congratulated the start of the new school year. In a message published on social media, President Begaj writes that every day at school is an opportunity to learn, to see and to dream.

Appreciating the importance of school in shaping new generations and quality education as the foundation for the country’s future, the head of state encourages pupils to follow this school year with dedication.

“Believe in yourselves, believe in your dreams and in the future. It will be better and it is in your hands,” the President said in his message.

President Begaj conveyed a special greeting to the children sitting at school desks for the first time. He also expressed gratitude to all the teachers who, with dedication, patience and love, carry out this noble mission.

Today begins the new school year for thousands of pupils across the country.

Every year, every new day at school is an opportunity to learn, to discover, but also to dream.

School is not simply a place where we gain knowledge. It is the place where we prepare to take responsibility, where we learn to know the world, to know our country, to understand its history, to appreciate its culture and values, and to understand the mission we have for its future.

I wish all pupils, especially those sitting at school desks for the first time, a fruitful, successful and beautiful year!
