Belarus hold Finland — Albania can break clear alone at the top of the group

Good news for the Albanian national team from Helsinki, where the Finland–Belarus encounter ended in a goalless 0-0 draw, valid for Group 1 in League C of the Nations League.

Belarus managed to hold Finland at home, and if Albania wins this evening away to San Marino, the red-and-blacks would climb alone to the top of the group on 6 points.

The Belarusians take their first point in the group, while the Finns move to 4 points. After this draw, the red-and-black side (certainly if it wins today) heads more calmly and confidently into Saturday’s trip to Finland, a direct clash for first place in the group.
