Berisha meets senior Kosovo representatives in Strasbourg: “Rama is carrying out ethnic cleansing in Albania”

Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha met in Strasbourg with the first deputy speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Prof. Ardian Gola, as well as representatives of Kosovo’s Consulate General in Strasbourg.

The meeting was also attended by Fitor Murati, Consul of the Republic of Kosovo in Strasbourg, and Ilir Selmani, First Secretary of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kosovo in Strasbourg.

During the meeting, Berisha also raised concerns about the political situation in Albania, accusing prime minister Rama over his government’s policies. “Rama is carrying out ethnic cleansing in Albania,” the Democratic leader said, ranking the statement among his positions on recent political developments in the country.

The meeting took place in Strasbourg, where Berisha is attending the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s autumn session.
