Berisha to America a Second Time? From SPAK, He Comments on Rama’s U.S. Visit

Just back from the United States of America. On his first visit since the sanctions against him were lifted, Sali Berisha is planning to travel to the U.S. again. It is no longer a secret that the Democratic Party chairman has received an invitation to take part in the IDU forum’s proceedings in early December in Washington.

“Will he go in December to Washington? Yes, even before that, before December. He will decide on the forum later. In principle, yes, but it is not the final decision,” Berisha said.

A comment on Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is in the U.S., where, alongside the UN proceedings, his agenda includes meetings with Albanians living and working there, was not missing either.

“Albanians against the protest in Detroit, despite the whole intimidation campaign. And I thank very much the courageous diaspora that told him you are the most hated person so far, the only one to have set foot in the United States and had a protest organized against him by citizens of Albanian origin,” Berisha said.

The Democratic leader made these statements at SPAK, in his declaration after fulfilling his obligation to appear.

In this communication with the media, he again accused SPAK of being the prime minister’s private investigator, which, as he put it, protects what he called the monstrous crimes of the head of government and his associates.
