Besnik Tahiri: “The state is not governed in the last 24 hours — everything is left for the end”
Alliance deputy chairman Besnik Tahiri has sharply criticized the way institutions function, saying key issues are constantly postponed until the last moment.
“Look where this society has fallen under this way of governance — everything is postponed, everything is left for the end, while institutions function only under the pressure of crisis,” Tahiri wrote on Facebook.
He also raised questions about the Law which, according to him, has still not been returned to the Assembly by the Ministry of Justice.
“Why is the Law not being returned to the Assembly by the Ministry of Justice? That Law is not some NASA analytical document. It’s a law, with several articles, that can be discussed, amended, and voted on. Why this anti-state logic? Who are we racing like this?” Tahiri wrote.
Tahiri also criticized the lack of a serious discussion on the election of the President and on the functioning of institutions.
“Why is there no serious discourse on the election of the President? Why is there no serious talk about a functional state and accountability? Because it seems the goal is not solving crises, but moving from one crisis to another,” he declared.
“This is not governance. It is the continuous postponement of the problem until the last minute. The state is not governed in the last 24 hours,” the Alliance deputy chairman concluded.
