Big Cass dominates Dragon Lee and sends him crashing out of the ring with a running splash

The match between Dragon Lee and Big Cass began right after the break. Lee attacked Cass as he entered the ring and knocked him to the mat as the referee called for the bell.

As Bleacher Report notes, Cass managed to briefly escape his opponent’s pressure, then hit Lee with a big boot that sent him straight to the canvas.

Cass slowed the pace and punished him with hard right-hand strikes. Lee tried to fight back, but Cass hoisted him onto the top rope, landed several chops to his back and then a running splash that sent Lee crashing out of the ring. Bleacher Report notes this ended the sequence of attacks and established Cass’s dominance in the first half of the bout.
