Blocked boulevards and main roads during yesterday’s protest in Tirana: 20 people prosecuted
Police on Monday prosecuted 20 participants who, during Sunday’s protest in Tirana, blocked the movement of vehicles on main roads and of citizens.
According to police reports, the 20 participants are accused of blocking the movement of citizens and vehicles, as well as disturbing public order.

Blocked traffic on the capital’s main roads and disturbed public order: 20 participants in a rally held on 13.09.2026 are being prosecuted.
In the course of investigative and procedural actions carried out to document the unlawful acts committed during this rally and to bring their perpetrators before criminal liability, specialists of Police Commissariat No. 2 referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against 20 participants, specifically the citizens:
Sh. B., 33; V. D., 29; B. K., 36; A. P., 49; I. M., 28; A. J., 39; A. K., 46; G. P., 37; A. Ll., 28; I. M., 24; E. K., 27; A. N., 26; S. E., 32; A. Ll., 20; M. Y., 19; A. B., 59; D. G., 50; B. M., 34; R. Sh., 22; and A. K., 29.
These citizens are suspected of, through organizing and participating in the rally, having blocked the movement of citizens and vehicles and having disturbed public order on the capital’s main roads, specifically the “Dëshmorët e Kombit”, “Bajram Curri” and “Gjergj Fishta” boulevards, “Wilson” Square and “Sami Frashëri” and “Abdyl Frashëri” streets.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further action on the criminal offenses of “Organizing and participating in unlawful gatherings and demonstrations,” “Obstructing the circulation of transport vehicles” and “Disturbing public order.”
