Body Found on Mount Sharr, Airlifted by Helicopter to Tetovo
The body was airlifted from the mountain to Tetovo at around 5:30 p.m. According to unofficial sources, the victim is believed to be a mountaineer aged around 70 from Xhepçisht; police will release more details tomorrow.
A lifeless body was found today on Mount Sharr, at an altitude of over 2,500 metres above sea level. The incident was confirmed by the Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs (SPB Tetovo).
According to police, citizens reported the case at around 2:30 p.m., after which the authorities launched the relevant field procedures.
At around 5:30 p.m., the body was transported by helicopter from the mountain to Tetovo. SPB Tetovo says more details about the incident will be released tomorrow.
