Bozinovska: Installed renewable capacity growing faster than planned — Energy Community Secretariat confirms
North Macedonia is recording accelerated growth in installed renewable energy capacity, outpacing plans — a development also confirmed by the Energy Community Secretariat.
The news was announced by the Minister of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources, Sanja Bozinovska, who stressed that new renewable capacity is growing faster than projected.
According to the minister, the trend shows the country’s energy policies are delivering concrete results and bringing North Macedonia closer to its green transition goals and integration into the European energy market.
Investments in solar energy and other renewables are expected to strengthen the country’s energy security and reduce import dependence, at a time when the energy transition has become a regional and European priority, as Press24 reports.
