Ceremony at the Presidency — Ervin Demo sworn in as Interior Minister

Ervin Demo was sworn in on Friday as Minister of Interior during a ceremony held at the Presidency.

The ceremony began with the performance of the national anthem, followed by the reading of the President’s decree appointing Demo to lead the Ministry of Interior.

“On the proposal of the Prime Minister, I decree: Mr. Ervin Demo is appointed Minister of Interior. This decree enters into force immediately,” the presidential decree reads.

After the oath formula was read, with his hand on the Constitution, Ervin Demo took the oath before the President and then signed the oath act.

With the ceremony concluded, Demo officially begins his duties at the helm of the Ministry of Interior, following his decreeing by the President.
