Chain collision involving 14 vehicles on the Šimanovci–Pećinci motorway, 7 injured taken to hospital

A serious chain collision involving 14 vehicles occurred this morning before 10:00 on the motorway between Šimanovci and Pećinci, in the direction of Belgrade, as the newspaper Danas reports. At least 7 people were taken to a Belgrade hospital.

The accident was confirmed by the Sremska Mitrovica Police Directorate, while police and emergency teams went to the scene, according to the portal regionalnevesti.rs, which cites the Tanjug agency.

The causes of the accident are still unknown and investigations are under way.
