Chinese military delegation visits Serbia for logistics cooperation and exchange of experience

As Nova.rs reports, referring to Serbia’s Ministry of Defence, a delegation of experts from the logistics support forces of China’s People’s Liberation Army is staying this week on a visit to the Serbian Army, with the aim of exchanging experience and learning about the organisation of logistics support in the Serbian army.

During the meeting at the Logistics Sector of the General Staff of the Serbian Army, the Chinese delegation learned about the duties, responsibilities and capacities of the Serbian logistics service. The talks focused on the fields of transport, supply and maintenance, as well as on issues of general logistics and military healthcare.

During their visit to Serbia, the Chinese experts visited the Logistics Training Centre in Kruševac and the overhaul technical institute “Đurđe Dimitrijević Đura” in Kragujevac. According to the official announcement, visits to the 608th Logistics Base, the Military Healthcare Administration and the Military Medical Academy are also planned during this week.

The visit comes within the framework of continuing military cooperation between Serbia and China and is expected to contribute to strengthening professional ties between the logistics structures of the two armies.
