Citizens flood “Skënderbeu” square on the 10th day of the protest for the liberators
One of the largest protests of this year was held tonight in Kosovo’s capital, where large numbers of citizens gathered for the tenth consecutive night in “Skënderbeu” square in Pristina.
The protest, held under the motto “Not in my name,” continues to demonstrate citizens’ commitment to showing support for the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
Protests were held across Kosovo today in support of the former KLA leaders, while tonight in the capital the square filled with citizens once again.
Not even the rainy weather stopped citizens from turning out to express their outrage at the decision of the Specialist Chambers in The Hague to sentence four former KLA leaders to 81 years in total.
Protesters carried flags and banners in support of the liberators, while the atmosphere in the square was calm but determined.
Citizens said The Hague’s decision is unjust and that they will not stop protesting until there is justice for the former leaders of the liberation war.
The event is being covered on the ground by Klan Kosova journalist Kastriot Tahiri, as Klan Kosova reports.
