Comeback Kings: Unstoppable Inter Hit Five Past Udinese After Falling 2-0 Behind

Inter can well be described as the masters of the comeback. The Nerazzurri did it again this season, once more at San Siro, this time beating Udinese 5-3.

The two sides entertained the fans in the first half, scoring four goals between them. Udinese started in the perfect way, taking the lead in the 9th minute through Abankwah and stunning everyone at San Siro.

Seven minutes later Udinese struck again, with Ekkelenkamp doubling the lead to 2-0. But if there is one team that reacts perfectly to such situations, it is Inter — and the Nerazzurri showed it immediately: Carlos Augusto pulled one back in the 26th minute, and Nicolò Barella leveled at 2-2 in the 35th, which is how the first half ended.

In the second half Inter pushed for the turnaround and got it in the 57th minute through Marcus Thuram to make it 3-2. In the 66th minute Inter scored again, this time through Pio Esposito for 4-2. The second half was all Inter, who found a fifth in the 79th minute through Bony.

In stoppage time, Gueye scored for Udinese to make it 5-3 and soften the defeat. After this match, Inter move to a perfect 12 points and join leaders Roma, while Udinese remain on 4 points after four matches.
