Crash on the Lushnjë–Fier Road: Two Vehicles Collide in Overtaking Attempt, No Injuries

A road accident was recorded at midday today on the Lushnjë–Fier road, near the village of Pirrë.

Two vehicles collided during an overtaking attempt. Only material damage is reported from the accident; no injured persons are known.

According to sources at the scene, one of the vehicles was driven by an elderly man, who is suspected of attempting to overtake a vehicle that was moving in the fast lane. Under these circumstances, the vehicle collided with another vehicle.

Police arrived at the scene and are carrying out the procedures to determine the circumstances and cause of the accident. Meanwhile, the presence of the crashed vehicles has caused difficulties for traffic on this road segment.
