Date set for the conciliation hearing between Barcelona and Florentino Pérez

The conciliation hearing between Barcelona and Florentino Pérez has a fixed date. The Catalan club and the Real Madrid president have been summoned for November 25 at 9:40 in the morning in the courtroom of Courts 1 and 2 in Madrid.

This is the preliminary step before filing a lawsuit against the Real Madrid president for alleged defamation under Article 205 of the Spanish Penal Code.

FC Barcelona filed the conciliation request in June. The Catalan club wants Florentino Pérez to retract his accusations that seven La Liga titles were stolen from them — and if he does not, they will file criminal charges against him, given that his statements constitute alleged defamation against the image and reputation of the Catalan club.
