Day 106 of the protest, citizens gather in front of the Prime Minister’s Office

Numerous citizens and activists took to the streets again this Sunday in the latest protest, which entered its 106th day. As every afternoon, after 7:00 p.m., protesters first gathered in Skanderbeg Square, chanting slogans such as “Your end has come,” “New Albania,” “Rama resign,” “Rama in jail, Berisha in jail,” and others.

After gathering in Skanderbeg Square, the protesters marched toward the “Martyrs of the Nation” Boulevard, where they stopped in front of the Prime Minister’s Office building, continuing with anti-government chants and speeches.

The protesters’ main demand remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the current government. As with every other protest, after the speeches, the protesters are expected to march through the streets of Tirana.
