Details: The Man Shot in Durrës Is a Lawyer — Motive a Mystery, Police Hunting the Gunman

A 52-year-old, identified as Elton Shllaku, a lawyer by profession, was shot in the hand this afternoon in neighborhood no. 1 of Durrës.

Police say the suspected perpetrator in the incident is 61-year-old Fatmir Ferhati.

The injured man is out of danger, while police have set up checkpoints and continue searches to catch the perpetrator, as the investigative team under the Prosecution’s direction works to fully clarify the circumstances.

Shllaku is reported to have a hand wound, with no risk to his life.

It is not known whether the lawyer’s work was the cause of this incident, or whether there was a conflict for other motives.
