Estonia accuses Russia of arson at a military factory
Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal stated that the arson at the Milrem Robotics company facility in Tallinn was an act of sabotage organized by Russian intelligence services. This is the conclusion reached by Estonia’s Internal Security Service after investigating the incident.
The fire was set during the night of August 15. According to Prime Minister Michal, the sabotage was part of a broader Russian campaign aimed at weakening support for Ukraine.
In September, Latvia handed over to Estonia three people suspected of involvement in the arson. The court ordered them held in pre-trial detention.
